Jeremy Littlejohn is the founder of ServiceThrive and Roofline Marketing, based in Hollister, California. With a career in marketing spanning over 25 years, beginning with building websites in 1999 and progressing through corporate roles at Apple, Cisco Systems, and West Marine, Jeremy launched his agency in 2011 and has since helped businesses across automotive, real estate, e-commerce, law, restaurants, and home services generate hundreds of millions in revenue. Today his focus is exclusively on home service contractors, including roofers, HVAC companies, landscapers, tile and stone contractors, and other trades, helping established businesses build digital marketing systems that compound over time. He holds a degree in graphic design and is a member of the WSRCA and San Benito County Chamber of Commerce.

The Real Story

Why I started this.

In 2011 I was working at a car dealership after years in corporate. Good money, real responsibility, and a job that owned my Saturdays. My wife would send me pictures of our kids during the day and it would break my heart that I wasn't there. My son was 3. My daughter was 4.

So when the dealership made me an offer I walked away from corporate, took my first client, and built my agency from scratch. That first client was a car dealership. Within months I had added a plumber, a roofer, a flooring contractor, and a hotel. The roofer and the hotel are still with me today. That wasn't an accident. It told me something about the kind of work I wanted to do and the kind of clients I wanted to serve.

Why Contractors

When a contractor grows, a community grows.

I've done it all. Automotive, real estate, e-commerce, law firms, restaurants. Hundreds of millions in revenue generated across over two decades. But contractors keep me coming back.

When a contractor grows, it's not just their revenue that goes up. They hire more people. They provide for their crews and their families. They become a bigger part of their community. I've watched clients go from scraping by to running real operations that create real jobs. That matters to me more than any vanity metric.

Most agencies get it wrong because they overpromise results, build campaigns around the wrong targeting, and lack the experience in search and follow up that actually moves the needle. They burn their clients and move on. I've been cleaning up that mess for 20 years.

Outside the Office

Built so I can be present.

I grew up in Hollister, California and went to school in Long Beach. I live here with my spouse and our two kids, a son and a daughter. When I'm not working you'll find me smoking meat for hours — ribs are my specialty. Hosting the holidays for 20 plus people. Wine tasting. At the gym.

Travel is a big part of my life. I've been to Cuba, Thailand, Colombia, and all over Mexico — Playa del Carmen is a favorite. Hawaii pulls me back regularly. Swimming in the ocean, snorkeling, hiking trails with views that stop you in your tracks, getting out on a boat in tropical water, and going to baseball games whenever I can. Anything warm, anything coastal.

That's always been the point — building something that lets you be present for the people and experiences that matter.
